  1. Creating Meaningful IEPs Through Understanding Educational Psychological Assessment
     
     This 4-hour workshop covers the main features of an educational psychological assessment, how this information is reflected in the day-to-day functioning of a student and how to use this information to write meaningful, measurable and realistic IEP goals and objectives. Workshop includes resources, case studies and examples of assessment reports. Also available in 4, one-hour webinars.
     
     
  2. Understanding Different Learning Profiles in Your Student Population
     
     This 1.5-2 hour workshop highlights the main types of learning difficulties regular classroom teachers may encounter, including: written expression disorder, reading disorder, math disorder, executive functioning weakness and social reasoning difficulties (as seen in Nonverbal Learning Disability, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD). Workshop focuses on the neurodevelopmental underpinnings and emotional effect of learning difficulties and provides recommendations that can be implemented during whole class instruction to improve learning outcomes for ALL students.
     
     
  3. Executive Functioning Strategies in the Classroom
     
     This 2-hour workshop covers the "Executive Skills" that can be weak in many students, especially those diagnosed with ADHD or other learning difficulties. These include: planning, organization, task initiation, goal directed persistence and metacognition among others. Workshop includes resources, case studies and examples of student work developed during an Executive Skills Support Program. Also available in 2, one-hour webinars.
